*Job Summary:*
We are seeking a skilled Tool and Die Maker to join our team. As a Tool and Die Maker, you will be responsible for designing, building, and repairing precision tools, dies, jigs, and fixtures. Your expertise in CAM programming, electrical discharge machining, and mechanical knowledge will be crucial in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our manufacturing processes.

*Responsibilities:*
- Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances of finished workpieces
- Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, grinders, or EDM machines to fabricate parts
- Verify dimensions using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, gauge blocks, or dial indicators
- Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify dies, jigs, gauges, and tools using hand tools or power tools
- Inspect finished dies for smoothness, contour conformity, and defects
- Test completed tools or dies to ensure that they meet specifications
- Troubleshoot issues with tooling or equipment and recommend repairs or modifications as needed

*Skills:*
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Proficiency in CAM programming for CNC machines
- Experience with electrical discharge machining (EDM)
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of tooling principles
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD for designing tooling components
- Ability to fabricate parts using various machining techniques
- Knowledge of precision measuring instruments such as micrometers and gauges
- Programming skills for CNC machines

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
