Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our team. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and sterility of medical equipment and instruments used in healthcare facilities. Your attention to detail and adherence to aseptic techniques will contribute to the overall safety and well-being of patients.

Responsibilities:
- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment according to established protocols
- Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets with precision and accuracy
- Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues to the supervisor
- Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and order replacements as needed
- Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and washers
- Follow infection control policies and procedures to prevent the spread of pathogens
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile instruments for procedures

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Proficiency in sterile processing techniques and aseptic practices
- Attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols and guidelines
- Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and track instrument usage
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
