Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide essential support to patients and assist with their daily activities. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the comfort and well-being of our patients.

Pay Details

40 Hrs./Wk.= $1140 Per week

Hourly Pay = $28.50hr.

Weekly Taxable:$640 Per week

weekly travel stipend: $500 Per Week

OT Rate:$36.50/hr.

Responsibilities:

Shift:8hr days, 40hr guarantee

13 weeks contract

08 hours a day

Every other weekend/Holiday coverage required

Duties:
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
- Take and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
- Assist with mobility and transfers, using proper lifting techniques and equipment (DME)
- Provide basic nursing care under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses
- Monitor and report any changes in patient condition or behavior to the nursing staff
- Assist in the delivery of patient meals and ensure dietary restrictions are followed
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of vital signs monitoring and documentation
- Familiarity with hospital medicine and nursing home procedures
- Experience in caregiving, particularly with children or elderly patients
- Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems (Epic)
- Ability to provide critical care support in emergency situations
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
