Registered Nurse

*Job Description:*

The Registered Nurse (RN) will play a crucial role in the assessment and care planning of Protective Services (PS) consumers. This position requires a fully licensed RN with a strong background in medical record review, medication assessment, and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

*Responsibilities:*

Conduct comprehensive assessments and care planning for Protective Services consumers.

Assist in managing difficult PS cases by conducting thorough medical record reviews and medication assessments.

Serve as a liaison between PS Investigators and physicians to ensure coordinated care for PS cases.

Accompany PS Investigators on community home visits, providing medical expertise and support as needed.

Review photographs related to PS cases and provide written medical assessments when necessary.

Document observations, consultations, and care interventions in a clear and concise manner for inclusion in PS files.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and agencies to ensure the safety and well-being of PS consumers.

Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in protective services and healthcare.

*Qualifications:*

Current RN license in good standing.

Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Knowledge of relevant healthcare laws, regulations, and standards.

Proficiency in medical record review and documentation.

Willingness to accompany PS Investigators on field visits when required.

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
