Job Title:  Behavioral Health Technician

Job Location:  Rochester, NY 14621

Job Type: Contract - 13 Weeks

Job Duties: 
* Conduct initial assessments to understand the client's mental health status, substance abuse history, and developmental needs.
* Monitor and document behavioral patterns, emotional responses, and progress throughout the treatment period.
* Collaborate with the treatment team to develop individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings.
* Implement interventions and strategies outlined in the treatment plan to promote positive behavioral change.
* Respond promptly and effectively to crisis situations, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
* Provide de-escalation techniques and support during challenging situations.
* Ensuring patients have a safe and supportive environment.
* Diffusing situations in which patients wish to harm themselves or others.
* Providing emotional support to patients.
* Alerting medical professionals to intervene in emergencies.
* Carrying out assessments and other administrative tasks.
* Maintaining strict patient confidentiality.

Job Requirements:
* Behavioral Health Tech Certification- Highly Preferred.
* 1 year of Behavioral Health Technician experience.
* BLS.

Schedule:
* 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM
* 36 hours per week
* Expected to work every other weekend and every other holiday

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour

Schedule:
* 12 hour shift
* Day shift
* Rotating weekends

Experience:
* Behavioral Health Technician: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:
* Behavioral Health Tech Certification (Preferred)
