About the Position
Position: Street Sweeper Operator (CDL A or B)
Location: Dearborn, MI
Pay (Union Scale): $26-$28 per hour depending on experience plus overtime.
This position is part of the Operating Engineers 324 Union Location.
Looking for a total of 8 new employees both day and night shift
The Street Sweeper:
· Operates and drives Street Sweepers for various customers, including to and from work sites
· Cleans equipment
· Performs routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refers defects or repairs to supervisor
Requirements
· 21 years of age or older
· Flexible regarding work schedule as operation is 24/7/365 days a year
· Valid CDL A or B with Airbrake Endorsement
· Prioritize health and safety
· Communicates well with supervisors, management, crew, and customers
· Be able to pass a pre-employment physical, background check, drug screen, and Motor Vehicles Record Check
· Previous Street Sweeper experience a plus
