Patient Referral Specialist

We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Patient Referral Specialist at Albany Gastroenterology Consultants of Albany New York
The Patient Referral Specialist Responsibilities are:
- Respond to appointment request and make new appointments accordingly
- Reschedule/cancel appointments
- Review patients' electronic appointment requests
- Knowledge of full scheduling process in order to assist the scheduling department as needed
- Maintains professional and courteous demeanor at all times with patients, physicians and co-workers
- Adhere to and support all policies and procedures of Albany Gastroenterology Consultants
- Other job duties as assigned
The Patient Referral Specialist must have the following qualifications and experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge of office processes and procedures acquired through three to five years of office experience or equivalent.
- Ability to learn and adapt.
- Ability to maintain strong relationships with physicians and co-workers.
- Position requires a flexible work schedule.
- Strong organization and communication skills
