Who you are

You love all things writing and marketing, and collaborating with a team who feels the same way. You have a way with words and you love crafting marketing collateral that engages and informs readers. You have experience writing short-form and long-form copy and you're a pro at producing work that aligns with business goals and strategy. You're the kind of person who loves when things click into place and that's what it feels like when you write. You take each writing project as a new challenge, a chance to put the pieces together in the best way possible, and ultimately inspire action in the target audience. You like to absorb new information and craft something that turns a complicated topic into something easy to understand. You think from the audience's point of view,  you're known for being organized, efficient with your time, and communicative, and you actually enjoy the collaborative process of creating smart, strategic content. 

What you'll be doing with the marketing team
  • Work collaboratively with our Senior Copywriter and Director of Content + Community
  • Write for a variety of content mediums, including but not limited to blog articles, email campaigns, website copy, YouTube descriptions, LinkedIn posts, video scripts, and downloads
  • Craft meaningful, keyword-focused blog content to drive Maestro's organic traffic and thought leadership
  • Conduct research as needed and interview and collaborate with our internal subject-matter experts
  • Thoughtfully integrate Maestro's personality and expertise into your writing
  • Get to know our target audience so you can write with empathy
  • Revise and edit your work in response to feedback from the Marketing team, internal subject-matter experts, and other stakeholders
Talents we're looking for
  • Excellent writing, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to create quality work efficiently
  • Knows the rules of writing, but willing to break them for the sake of conversational tone and relatability
  • Ability to collaborate throughout the writing process, including: interviewing, outlining, and revising
  • Seeks out and embraces feedback
  • Ability to plug into our project management process, including using Zoom, Wrike, Slack, Google Docs, and other collaboration tools
