Responsibilities – Service BDC Representative:
- Fielding service department phone calls
- Booking appointments based on a maintenance schedule and in accordance with company policies and manufacturer specifications
- Daily customer retention, ongoing calls, and reminders utilizing email and text
- Assist with Courtesy Transportation program
- Greet customers quickly to ensure they feel welcome and assist getting them to waiting room or destination when necessary
- Learn the duties of the Service Advisors in order to assist with the overall performance of the service drive, and to schedule appropriately
- Documenting and updating customer records in real-time, based on interactions
Qualifications/Requirements – Service BDC Representative:
- 2 years of BDC or Service Receptionist experience required
- A general understanding of automotive service and repair
- The desire and ability to keep abreast of automotive technology changes
- A thorough understanding of time management and appointment scheduling
- Solid multi-tasking skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment without sacrificing customer service
- The ability to instantly build rapport with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Strong computer skills
- A resume must be uploaded, and online assessment completed for immediate consideration.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship and be a current resident.
- Must pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, and drug screen.
