Overview:

 

Prepares operating room for surgery, using appropriate techniques. Provides technical services and assists in the operating room as assigned and directed by the professional nurse.

 

Qualifications:

QualificationsEducation: Post high school/vocational.Licensure: NoneExperience: 1 year experience as a scrub tech. Certifications: Basic Life Support Certification through the American Heart Association for Health Care Providers.Other: Competent to provide services to age specific patient population of assigned areas.Preferred Education: Preferred Licensure: Preferred Experience: Preferred Certifications: Certification as a surgical scrub tech preferredPreferred Other:
