DevOps Integration Engineer

Please Note:  This position is 100% remote; however, you must reside within 50 miles of our Coppell, TX, location or be willing to relocate within the area. You will be expected to come into the Coppell, TX office a minimum of two (2) Thursdays of each month for Collaboration Days and as needed for technical issues. Depending on the severity of the technical issue, you are expected to be into the office within 90 minutes to two hours of notice.

As a member of Tools and Technology – DevOps Cloud Integration Administration team, you will be contributing to ensure the stability and health of Integration layer platform consisting of IBM Operational Decision Management (ODM) and IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW), all running on IBM zLinux. You will participate architecting, administering, and supporting of these platforms and extending existing monitoring and alerting capabilities to Splunk. Collaborate with your agile team, with Senior IT, and Business stakeholders to develop roadmaps and technology modernization of these platforms both on-prem and cloud-based.

The position will be part of DevOps component team to work with all IS Infrastructure and Development teams, delivering solutions and supporting of backlog items within the DevOps ecosystem. 

What You’ll Do

  • Consult and provide architectural strategy surrounding IBM ODM, BAW, and specific Microsoft 365 Products. This includes modernization and cloud-based platforms solutions. 
  • Administer and Support ODM, BAW, and other integration platforms.
  • Able to support BAW, and ODM deployments, patches, upgrades, and migration efforts.
  • Participate in the automation of deployments in a CI/CD pipeline.
  • Collaborate in Agile Team ceremonies.
  • Provide technical training and consultation to other members of the IT organization.
  • Be on a rotational on-call schedule to resolve production system problems.
  • Investigate and recommend new methods, procedures, tools, and technologies. Participate with other IT professionals to evaluate new technologies in the market and recommend cohesive direction for the IT organization.

What You’ll Need

  • 3+ years of one or combination of the following platforms: IBM Integration Bus, IBM Operational Decision Manager, IBM Business Automation Workflow, or equivalents
  • 2+ years of CI/CD experience, using common DevOps lifecycle tools such as Jenkins, Sonar, Docker, Git, Selenium, or Nexus
  • 2+ years of CyberArk administration experience.
  • Cloud platform in AWS or Azure is plus.
  • Proven systems and networking experience
  • Ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.
  • Strong Scripting knowledge.
  • Experience with monitoring tools such as Splunk, SCOM and Extra Hop.
  • Docker and Kubernetes experience is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with both business and technical teams.
