DEPARTMENT SUMMARY 

  • The production department assembles and tests electromechanical modules prior to final integration. 

POSITION SUMMARY

  • Responsible for building and testing of electromechanical Platforms which includes following required processes, troubleshooting and problem resolution. 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Responsible for assembling active product modules
  • Perform build and test of modules for standard and custom products.
  • Knowledge of basic mechanics
  • Able to read mechanical drawings and process plans
  • Moving of heavy modules
  • Assembly of modules, both mechanical assembly and wiring
  • Completing required processes for items above
  • Ability to work weekends as workload requires 

KEY RELATIONSHIPS

The role will report to the Production manager and collaborate with other floor technicians and assemblers along with Quality, Engineering, and fellow manufacturing associates. 

MINIMUM:  

  • Electromechanical skill sets (Reading blueprints, basic wiring)
  • Experience with root cause analysis
  • Experience with trouble shooting and diagnostics
  • Proficient with general computer use
  • Familiar with MS Office

 

 

PREFERRED:

  • Associates degree in technical discipline
  • Highly effective at defining root cause analysis and recommending solutions
  • Excellent trouble shooting and diagnosis capabilities
  • Excellent oral and written communication capabilities
  • Experience with software installation
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • PLC Experience
