Job Summary:
The Sales Floor Supervisor works hand in hand with the Store Manager to create and maintain a shoppable and profitable store. As a support to the Store Manager, they ensure efficient and effective customer service experience as well as maintain the appearance of the sales floor.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Oversees all aspects of the selling floor including but not limited to: apparel, footwear and hardlines departments.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing sales floor by following code w policies, merchandising and display standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment, inventory counts, and stockroom organization.
- Handle customer questions, complaints, and escalations in a professional and timely manner, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
- Collaborate with the store management team to execute sales promotions, marketing initiatives, and special events to drive traffic and increase sales.
- Enforce company policies and procedures regarding customer service, sales, safety, and security.
- Helps maintain a strong team by aiding in the training and development of new hires.
- Performs recovery of the sales floor to meet company standards.
- Frequently check expiration dates on consumable items to ensure safety.
- Ensured all sizing is correct per the guidelines on everyday and promotional product.
- Completes any other tasks assigned by the Store Manager.
Requirements
Skills/Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
- Knowledge of retail operations, including merchandising.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Proficiency in basic computer applications and point-of-sale systems.
- High school diploma , GED or equivalent work experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended hours
- Frequently lift items over 20 pounds
