Lead Simulation Engineer

The Lead Engineer for the Vehicle Dynamics Digital Development is responsible for Leading a team of Engineers to support Body on Frame Advanced vehicle programs with component and sub system specifications to meet full vehicle performance targets for Ride, Handling and Steering. The selected candidate will be integral with the team and work with Vehicle Dynamics Test Engineers, the Program teams, Vehicle Development, Chassis Component Engineers, NVH and Durability. Off-line Simulation assessments, followed by recommending countermeasures supported by Virtual Validation and correlated models. Also supporting Driver In the Loop activity with models for tuning activities. HIL/SIL integration as needed. Create and manage Virtual workplans for the Body On Frame programs Ensure key deliverables are met at the appropriate milestones Prioritize the workload according to the needs of the program: balancing meeting internal deliverables, but also best serving the vehicle & program needs.
