API Developers/Consultants are responsible for the implementation and configuration of the technical infrastructure including web applications, layered software, hardware platform and operating systems. Our Consultant regularly consults with clients on best practices, issue resolution and experience guidance in order to improve the performance/reliability of client's technical environment.

  • Work closely with business owners and stake holders and participate in the Agile process. Be able to take a user story and implement the desired functionality within the product. 
  • Collaborate directly with various cross-functional technology & business teams, legal, compliance and privacy teams to provide recommendations and define enterprise API requirements.
  • Communicates across client community, and is viewed as adding value
  • Proactively detecting issues and identifying solutions with directly responsible individuals.
  • Ability to design, develop, and implement web applications with minimal guidance. 
  • Perform quality review of the features developed and as needed provide feedback to team members
  • Assist in deployment and maintenance of team’s Azure resources 
  • Understands a broad spectrum of technology in order to provide part or all of a detailed technical design which meets customer requirements
  • Provides advice on solution and integration opportunities to defined segments
  • Provides technical leadership on specific integration activities that are part of an engagement
  • Provides planning and design support for the development of solution architectures that will be implemented in a multiple system environment
  • Contributes to knowledge tools and communities, and ensures project learning’s are documented and shared. Role models Focuses on single customer. Solves diverse and complex.
  • Passionate coder with 5+ years of professional experience with Web Service development using latest trends in web service architecture like Cloud-native web services, Microservices and Serverless web services 
  • 4+ years of experience with Web Application Development in C# and .net Core
  • 2+ years of experience with various Azure services such as Web Application Services, Function Apps, Cosmos DB, Kusto, KQL, ADF, with experience in Functions a MUST 
  • Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs, REST Standards
  • Experience developing and deploying back-end databases
  • Exposure to Service Bus, Queues and/or Event Hubs
  • Experience developing using client-side technologies such as React.js
  • Experience with Azure DevOps or other enterprise source control tools
  • Exposure to build Pipelines to move data using ADF (Azure Data Factory) or other ETL tools.
  • Possesses advanced level of business, technical, or functional knowledge
  • Ability to perform/drive resolution of problems on combinations and interactions of products
  • Able to communicate and present complex issues with assurance and confidence
  • Demonstrates the use of consulting skills including: questioning, listening, ideas development, permission and rapport, and influencing
  • Ability to conduct/lead oral status/technical interchange meetings with clients on small to medium sized engagements
  • Owns and produces customer documentation. Ability to translate technical details into concise and easy to understand written form. Ability to write relevant components of a proposal document (e.g. answer specific RFP questions). Ability to translate verbal requirements from face to face client meetings into requirements documents, statements of work, and proposals
  • Able to discuss (within own area of expertise) requirements with a customer, and to challenge and clarify when appropriate. From the requirements, able to develop a high level design or plan, and then estimate the amount of effort required to deliver. Able to advise the engagement owner about the risks associated with this work package
  • Ability to work with a team to provide written responses to technical proposals and /or reports/documentation for delivery

 

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials. It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $45,864 to $101,520 . Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
