Preferred: One year experience in a manufacturing and or production environment. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Good communication skills, both oral and written.
Must be able to use and understand calculations used for weights
Must be able to communicate in English, both verbally and writing, sufficiently to prepare and comprehend wash tags, shipping and receiving paperwork, master sanitation schedule, and communicate with truck drivers and fellow employees.
Must be able to hook up hoses, change jumpers.
Shows willingness and aptitude to use own discretion in taking appropriate steps in finding solutions to problems and presents options and ideas to enhance current processes or procedures. Takes on additional responsibility when both big and small tasks need to be done.
Firmly adheres to the values and ethics of Dairy Farmers of America. Exhibits honesty, discretion, and sound judgment.
Willing to work with others, collaborating and compromising where necessary; promptly share relevant information with others.

Maintenance of positive company image in the community. Physical Demands and Work Environment:
Sitting, standing, kneeling, bending
Walking, bending arms, wrists, fingers; twisting/turning of head, shoulders, and torso: climbing on to tankers.
Must have sufficient use of eyes, ears, and full power of speech.
Work will be done both in a partially climate controlled office environment, as well as in partially climate controlled shipping and receiving bay. The actual operation of plant equipment is necessary and awareness of potential hazards surrounding the equipment and operation must be recognized.
