Additional Information About the Role

Do you want to work with a great team in providing safe patient care in the OR?  Our ideal candidates will provide excellent and safe care in a fast-paced environment.  Previous cardiovacular surgery experience is highly preferred.

  • 6:30 a.m. - 7:00 p.m.
  • On-call 1 - 2 times/week and every 5th weekend
  • Up to a $12,000 Sign-on Bonus
  • Relocation Assistance if outside a 100 mile radius

Preferred Qualifications

Role Purpose

Performs surgical duties for operating room procedures under the direct supervision of a registered nurse.

 

Responsibilities

Prepares operating room for surgical patient, reviews preference cards to determine surgeon needs, obtains the necessary supplies and equipment for the procedure, ensures cleanliness of room, and assists with opening sterile supplies.Performs surgical scrub duties, and assists with the collection, identification, and disposition of cultures and specimens.Assists in turning over of room, and ensures supplies, instruments, and equipment are returned to proper location.
