How you'll make an impact:

We have an amazing new opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst to join our Gallagher Benefit Services team

 

Position Summary:

  • Oversee and complete month end close activities including:
    • Revenue Recognition Coordination
    • P&L Monitoring / Coordinating Close Issues
    • Journal Entries / Reclasses
    • Provide Early Revenue Read Finance Leadership
    • Allocations management
  • Coordinating monthly, quarterly forecasting and annual planning processes
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports - assisting in the analysis of financial information to determine present and future financial performance, including
    • Present and explain monthly reporting to business partners on financial results and actions required
    • Variance Analysis/Commentary for Finance Leadership
    • Month End Commentary/Reporting to Practice Area leaders
    • Risk and Opportunity analysis, and bridge comments to shed insights into the business
  • Partner with various departments to research any financial inquiries
  • Dive deeply into financial data and become a subject matter expert to provide additional insights
  • Participate in special projects as well as other department functions as require
  • Ability to work and partner with different centers of excellence across the organization
  • Oversee M&A activities including:
    • Assist in the integration of new acquisitions
    • Manage P&L & Earnout projections
  • Complete other ad hoc requests
About you:

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4 or more years experience required
  • Strong Excel and financial management software skills are critical

Desired:

  • Prefer degree in Accounting or Finance. 
  • CMA or CFA preferred
