Nesco Resource is looking for a Packer/Palletizer located in Oxford, CTThis is a temp to perm opportunity for the right candidate.
Shift: Monday-Friday 7:30AM-3:30PM, with paid Lunch.
Pay: $15.69/hour
Position Summary: The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in assembly processes, packing products, stacking and wrapping pallets, and ensuring products are prepared for shipment
Soldering skills are a plus, as well as an intermediate level of English proficiency.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Participate in assembly processes as required.
- Pack products into boxes accurately and efficiently.
- Stack and wrap pallets to prepare for shipment.
- Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Assist with inventory management and record-keeping as needed.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by the supervisor.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Soldering skills are a plus.
- Intermediate English proficiency to understand, communicate and follow instructions.
- Ability to participate in assembly processes.
- Competence in boxing, stacking, and wrapping pallets.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in handling products.
- Physical ability to lift and move items up to 40lbs.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic math skills for inventory and record-keeping tasks.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
