Welcome to Back To The Wall LLC.

We are a family operated farm ranch in eastern Washington. We grow a variety of crops including: irrigated alfalfa, grass hay, wheat,corn and seed crops. We maintain an 800 head/cow calf herd and have a 1000 head grow/finish yard. This is a growth operation seeking to hire an experienced full-time crop production manager. We are family oriented and our team is made up of self directed individuals that care about safety and taking care of the land and animals they are entrusted with.

This job requires a capable equipment operator familiar with modern farm and haying equipment . Experience with pivot irrigation and good mechanic skills will be required. Must be familar with swathing, baling(big square bales), stacking and hauling hay. The ideal applicant would be comfortable driving a truck, feed wagon, loader, backhoe and other machinery. A CDL is a plus. Crop production and hay will be the primary focus of this position. In the off season assistance with feeding cattle (both in and out of a feedlot) cleaning pens,calving, fencing and equipment maintenance will be necessary.

We offer a competitive compensation package that will be developed with the hired candidate based on experience and their needs. $22-28 per hour. Included is a modern 3 bedroom 2 bath house fit for a family with a nice big yard. Families are welcome. We provide basic utilities, beef, a company vehicle and paid vacation. Located within a great school district and close to recreation, hunting and lakes.

Job Requirements

  • Prior Farming and haying experience. Must be able to operate heavy and light equipment. Tractors, loaders, feed-wagons, backhoes and hay equipment.

  • Must maintain a valid driver's license and be insurable. CDL preferred.

  • Must be able to physically work in a farming environment lift 75lbs and work extended hours during peak seasons.

  • Must have mechanical skills to maintain farm and irrigation equipment.
