We are hiring for a Nocturnist positions. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.

Local Team Collaboration:

• Join our close-knit team of 16 physicians at Washington Hospital.
• The Hospitalist team is supported by a clinical performance nurse and practice manager with excellent nursing staff and collaborative consulting services.
• Outstanding hospital leadership who are very supportive of our team.

Qualifications:

• Board certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
• We welcome interest from physicians coming out of training or physicians with experience desiring a career change.

Flexible Scheduling:

• This is a Nocturnist role, and the schedule is 7pm to 7am with the support of a swing-scheduled physician from 12pm to 12am.
• 7 on/7 off block schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care in a 415-bed acute-care hospital with a 28-bed ICU and 23-bed emergency room.
• Closed ICU - The ICU team runs 24/7 intensivist support and codes.
• Epic EMR with access to Sound Physicians' internal informatics platform for streamlined and efficient workflow.
• Manageable workload and encounters foster a balanced and supportive work environment.
• Our hospitalists are expected to participate in 1-2 committees that you find of interest.

Rewards and Benefits:

• Compensation: The expected annual salary for the Nocturnist position working 182 shifts per year is $382k base, plus productivity and quality bonuses.
