Hurricane Express is a long‑haul refrigerated trucking company operating since 1992. We maintain a Satisfactory DOT rating and support 450+ OTR independent contractors through our lease‑purchase program. We’re expanding and hiring an experienced Body Shop Technician for our new maintenance facility.
*Job Summary*
We’re looking for a dependable, experienced Body Technician to perform tractor and trailer body repairs, panel replacement, welding, sanding, painting, and mechanical component adjustments.
*Responsibilities*
* Inspect damaged tractors/trailers and estimate repair needs
* Remove interior/exterior components to access damaged areas
* Fill depressions with body filler; grind, sand, and refinish surfaces
* Replace damaged fenders, panels, and structural parts
* Weld or bolt replacement parts
* Align wheels, aim headlights, adjust air brakes
* Paint repaired surfaces
* Repair or replace defective mechanical parts
*Qualifications*
* 1–2 years of body repair experience (tractor/trailer preferred)
* Strong knowledge of collision/body xhmxlyz repair methods
* Welding, sanding, grinding, and painting experience
* Valid driver’s license
* Reliable and able to work independently
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
