LPN - Moore Pediatric Associates

- Performs duties of a licensed practical nurse as prescribed by the Oklahoma Nurse Practice Act.
- Contributes to the development of a plan of care and follows through with such plan for selected patients.
- Administers medication with a high degree of safety and accuracy.
- Maintains the exam rooms and work environment.
- Documents nursing care and activities.
- Assists with patient care and monitors patients during procedures.
- Assists with the training of other staff.
- Assists departmental assistant with clinical matters. Qualifications: Education
- High school diploma or equivalent and completion of a vocational program for Licensed Practical Nurse.Experience
- Prefer at least -1-2 year experience in a pediatric physician-office setting, emergency room and/or a hospital setting that provides pediatric patient care. Experience in office clerical activities desirable.(Above requirements can be met by equivalent combination of education and experience) -Licensure/Certification
- Current LPN license from the State of Oklahoma or active Multistate LPN license is required.Basic Life Support (BLS) training or re-training is required during orientation prior to providing patient care.Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is required to be maintained for duration of employment.Compensation/Benefits
- $17.39-$28.40/hr depending on previous work experience.Benefits include medical, dental, vision, short-term disability, long-term disability, life insurance, paid time off (PTO), paid holidays, tuition reimbursement, scholarship opportunities, retirement plans, free parking, and opportunities for advancement.
