About the Role:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional nursing care to our residents in a nurturing and homely atmosphere. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Conducting thorough assessments and maintaining accurate documentation of residents' health status.
  • Monitoring and reporting any notable changes in residents' conditions to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Overseeing the daily tasks of Resident Care Assistants, ensuring high standards of care.
  • Mentoring and guiding team members to enhance their performance and job satisfaction.
  • Coordinating care with external providers through effective case management.
  • Promoting resident independence while balancing service demands.
  • Identifying and preventing elder abuse and neglect, adhering to state regulations.
  • Responding to emergencies and knowing when to seek additional support.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess:
  • A current state license as an LPN and CPR certification.
  • A graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • 1 to 2 years of nursing experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with the elderly, either in a paid or volunteer capacity, is highly valued.
