Job Summary:
Nesco Resource is seeking a detail-oriented and highly skilled Lab Technician to join our team. The Lab Technician will be responsible for performing various tests and quality checks on materials and products to ensure compliance with industry standards and company specifications. This role involves working with testing equipment, analyzing data, and maintaining accurate records to support the production of high-quality products.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine testing and inspections on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring calibration and proper functioning.
  • Conduct chemical, physical, and mechanical tests on materials using standardized procedures.
  • Record and interpret data from tests and prepare detailed reports for management and production teams.
  • Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to identify and address quality concerns.
  • Ensure the lab is kept clean, organized, and follows safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in troubleshooting issues related to product quality and work with teams to resolve them.
  • Maintain accurate records of test results, equipment maintenance, and calibration schedules.
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience working in a lab environment, preferably in manufacturing or production.
  • Strong understanding of laboratory equipment and testing methodologies.
  • Ability to accurately collect and analyze data.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word) and familiarity with data entry software.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a laboratory setting.
  • Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds when necessary.

First Shift

Monday to Friday 8am-5pm
