Test Technician II

is seeking a Test Technician II in Gulf Breeze, FL.

Job Responsibilities:

The Optics Test Technician uses their skills to produce high quality electronic products with accuracy and attention to detail
Assemble and test products in accordance with documented work instructions to ensure the units meet specifications, tolerances, and customer requirements.Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement.Interpret assembly drawings and process flow instructions.Must be trained across all optics assembly stages.Work under minimal supervision.Rely on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish assigned goals.Resolve most questions and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher levels.Identify quality and reliability issues and submit recommendations for improvements.Develop personal goals and objectives for continuous improvement in support of Company and Department goals and objectivesMaintain workplace organization.

Basic Hiring Criteria:

High school diploma or equivalent required; Vocational school or secondary education in electronics technology strongly preferred.Two (2) years prior electronic assembly experience required.Basic computer skills including Word and ExcelRegular, predictable attendance is required.Must be willing to work overtime as necessary.Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, ambiguous, and rapidly changing environment.Aerospace/Aviation experience preferred.
