ACCOUNTING CLERK

OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE:

  • Accounting Clerk reconciles and balances accounts
  • Receive and record vouchers, cash, and checks
  • Accounting Clerk checks for accuracy in reports, figures, and postings
  • Communicate with vendors in a timely and professional manner regarding inquiries, invoicing, and discrepancies
  • Accounting Clerk handles administrative work includes general filing and data entry when necessary

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING CLERK:

  • Accounting Clerk role requires a minimum two years of accounting experience
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills; experience with a major ERP
  • Strong attention to detail, very accurate data entry skills
