  • Med/Surg, Telemetry- remote monitoring, Colostomy care, Feeding tube care and management, Blood Product Administration, Central line blood draw, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Phlebotomy, PICC line management, Starting IVs, Heparin, Insulin, PCA Skills requirements
  • Electronic Documentation required
  • BSN preferred

The following drips are administered on our unit-Heparin, Lidocaine ( pain only) , Bicarb, Bivaldirubin, Amiodarone ( Stable Non Titrated ) occasionallyWe also have PCAs, Epidurals and CBIs with different irrigation solutionsWe have centralized tele – preferred that Nurse should have some basic knowledge of teleSpecial Procedures/Unit Details:, foleys, CBI continuous bladder irrigation; TURPS, protocols for colorectal patients
