We believe in providing our clients with confidence - in our services and their decision.WHAT YOU'LL DOAs our Geotechnical Crawlspace Foreman, you will be responsible for leading teams in commercial and residential foundation repair, soil stabilization, crawlspace remediation, or concrete leveling projects. To succeed, you will need a flexible skill set, including the ability to communicate, work hard, and collaborate.DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead teams of general construction laborers performing crawlspace-specific work, including excavation, stabilization, and waterproofing, alongside other physical tasks using hand tools and lifting materials;Navigate confined spaces safely and effectively while ensuring team adherence to safety protocols;Understand project schedules, assume additional responsibilities, and work extended hours as needed to meet project deadlines;Work cohesively with team members to exceed client expectations;Maintain equipment daily to ensure it functions properly and safely;Maintain quality control, site safety, and compliance with crawlspace geotechnical project standards;Research and determine methods and procedures for new or unique crawlspace assignments in compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements;Handle all employee matters with consistency and fairness without discrimination;Maintain internal employee communication and engagement through feedback programs, surveys, and one-on-one meetings;Align the work with Helicon's culture and strategic goals - Stay True, Communicate Clearly, Forecast Needs + Outperform; andWork with the team on mutually agreed-upon KPIs.Requirements:WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FORMUST HAVES:High School diploma, GED, or equivalent;3+ years of experience in construction general labor, including crawlspace or geotechnical environments, and/or working outside for long hours;Experience working in confined spaces or environments requiring specific safety protocols;Reliable transportation, valid FL driver's license, and a clean driving record;Familiarity with construction project team management and delegation;The ability to be coached and mentored and collaborate within a team environment;Possess excellent project management skills with the proven ability to drive ideas into action;Enjoy thinking strategically to align perspectives, voices, and opinions;A good human who cares about all humans;Offer excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and meaningful relationships;Knowledge of engineering and construction processes, codes, and standards, particularly in the geotechnical and crawlspace sectors; andWell-organized and able to meet deadlines.YOU WILL LOVE WORKING FOR HELICON IF YOU:Thrive working in fast-paced, high-growth environments; andGet excited about building something from the ground up.WORK SCHEDULE:Varies; will require a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays;Local day travel is required; andPosition requires occasional overtime.ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS:Work near or with moving mechanical parts - Frequently;Work in confined spaces and crawlspaces - Frequently;Outdoor weather conditions - Occasionally; andModerate-Loud Noise.PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to lift/carry/push or pull - up to 50 pounds;Must be able to hear equipment operating, alarms sounding, traffic, telephones; andAbility to see clearly at 20 inches/50 centimeters or less and at 20 feet/6 meters or more.Compensation details: 18-22 Hourly WagePIab735acb5af2-25660-36484456
