You will work closely with the inventory control team and other departments to resolve issues and optimize inventory management processes.

$18.00 per hour

**Key Responsibilities:**

  1. **Cycle Counting:** Conduct regular cycle counts of inventory items according to established schedules and procedures.
  2. **Investigation:** Investigate inventory discrepancies by analyzing transaction records, investigating potential causes such as miscounts, misplaced items, or system errors.
  3. **Documentation:** Maintain accurate records of inventory counts, adjustments, and discrepancies.
  4. **Reporting:** Prepare and distribute reports summarizing inventory counts, discrepancies, and trends to management and relevant stakeholders.
  5. **Collaboration:** Work closely with other departments such as receiving, shipping, and production to coordinate inventory movements and resolve discrepancies.
  6. **Process Improvement:** Identify opportunities to improve inventory management processes, enhance accuracy, and reduce discrepancies.
  7. **Compliance:** Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements related to inventory control and record-keeping.

 

**Qualifications and Skills:**

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.

- Experience in SAP preferred but not required.

- Proven experience in inventory control, cycle counting, or related field

- Previous cycle count experience required

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in counting and recording inventory.

- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

- Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

- Ability to lift and move heavy objects as required during inventory counts.

**Working Conditions:**
- The position requires working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
- May involve standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
