    • Seeking a board certified or truly board eligible neonatology nurse practitioner
    • Must have at least one year post training experience
    • Reason for need: provider on leave
    • Need starts ASAP
    • Ability to work part-time or full-time
    • 7p-7a
    • Is ECMO required? NO
    • What level NICU do they have? Level 4 - they take care of surgical patients, but they do not care for CV post op patients; those patients go to PICU
    • # of beds in the NICU? 60- 65 (they have 5 twin rooms)
    • Does the Neonatal NP need to do helicopter transports? No; some permanent NP staff transport, but not locums at this time
    • Does the Neonatal NP work well-baby and step down units? Step down, yes. Well baby - not at this time
    • In-house neonatal ICU coverage
    • Manage a team of patients that can range from 15-20 neonatal patients in a 12-hour shift
    • There is an available attending in hospital overnight if needed
    • Other providers include fellows and residents
    • Required Procedures: Competent at umbilical line placement, central line placement/Peripherally inserted central lines, arterial line placement, intubation, newborn resuscitation, lumbar puncture, and chest tube placement
    • Illinois DEA and CSR are not required
    • Required: BLS
    • EMR: EPIC
