Caregiver/DSP for Behavioral Group Home

Hourly Pay: $18.45/hour

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO SEVITA/REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; DSP Year 1 and DSP Year 2 certifications Preferred
  • Experience: REQUIRED - At least 6 months of experience in direct care of individuals with developmental disabilities
    • Experience working with individuals who have severe behavioral challenges (such as verbal/physical aggression, property destruction, running away, etc.) preferred
  • Skills: Behavioral de-escalation, knowledge of client rights and advocacy, strong communication skills
  • Behaviors: Patient, compassionate, reliable, responsible
  • Valid CA Driver's license; also - must have at least one year of valid driver's license history (in any US state)
  • AVAILABILITY: All positions require working at least one weekend shift, most of our openings at the moment include both Saturday and Sunday - we need weekend coverage so if you are not available on the weekends please do not apply.
