Description

Provides professional patient care for all patients following established standards and practices. Serves as a role model for Registered Nurses, Medical Assistants and LVNs by providing leadership which fosters positive attitudes and change, as well as supports management policies and procedures. Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates the care of patients undergoing procedures. Assists in the organization and daily function of the procedure room in accordance with established federal, state and accreditation standards and facility policies and procedures. Assists in overseeing patient care activities and maintains a high standard of safety for the patient and other staff members.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate of a recognized Registered Nursing program.
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire.
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
  • Upon completion of orientation in Infusion Department: ONS Chemo/Immunotherapy Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • 2 years RN experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years Ambulatory/hospital experience with references.
