OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE:

  • Accounting Clerk communicates with customers via email and telephone in a timely and professional manner regarding inquiries, invoicing, and discrepancies
  • Match invoices to receipts for Accounts Payable
  • General data entry for Accounts Payable and Receivables
  • Accounting Clerk assists with account set up
  • Checking for accuracy in invoices, payments, postings, and receiving slips

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE:

  • High school degree minimum for Accounting Clerk role: additional degree or certification are a plus
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, highly organized
  • The Accounting Clerk must have the desire and willingness to learn
