Job Details

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, your main responsibilities will include:

  1. Conducting regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify any defects, malfunctions, or necessary repairs.
  2. Performing preventative maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  3. Reading and interpreting wiring diagrams, schematics, and blueprints to accurately diagnose and repair electrical problems.
  4. Ensuring compliance with national and local electrical codes and regulations.
  5. Installing and maintaining low voltage systems.
  6. Troubleshooting and repairing Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), specifically Allen Bradley.
  7. Working closely with other team members to improve processes and prevent downtime.
  8. Providing technical support and training to other team members as needed.
  9. Participating in safety meetings and adhering to all safety protocols and procedures.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:

  1. 3-5 years of experience as a Journeyman or Master Electrician in the manufacturing industry.
  2. Extensive knowledge of Electrical Code and the ability to apply this knowledge in a practical setting.
  3. Proficiency in reading and interpreting wiring diagrams.
  4. Experience with low voltage systems and electrical systems troubleshooting.
  5. Proven experience with electrical repair and maintenance.
  6. Familiarity with PLC, specifically Allen Bradley.
  7. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  8. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  9. A commitment to safety and quality.
  10. A high school diploma or equivalent. A degree in electrical engineering or a relevant field is preferred.
