Scion Staffing has been engaged to conduct a search fora Vault Teller for immediate hire for our client, a wonderful innovative company that provides gaming solutions and services to various establishments across the states This is an exciting Full-Time, Direct-Hire opportunity located onsite in Las Vegas, NV

As the Vault Teller, you will report to the Controller be responsible for the collection and processing of large volumes of currency. You will utilize your high attention to detail and mathematical aptitude to sort, strap, bundle, and count currency for the business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Accountable for all funds in the vault during the shift and all transactions processed through it
  • Prepare the bank deposit for daily pickup by armored service
  • Ensure funds in the vault are balanced at the start and end of each shift
  • Manage all funds in the vault drawer and safe
  • Reconcile all transactions processed in the vault and account for all markers at the beginning and end of the shift
  • Confirm the transfer of funds from soft count to the vault
  • Secure and unsecure bags by strapping and unstrapping them
  • Maintain daily communication with the Service Supervisor regarding the issuance of additional funds per shift, as directed by the Controller
  • This job description outlines the positions core responsibilities but does not cover all possible tasks

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 3+ years of Vault Teller or similar experience
  • Experience processing 2-5 M on a daily basis
  • Cummins or Kisan currency machinery experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Proficiency with MS Excel
  • High School Diploma is required
  • Valid Drivers License
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong mathematical aptitude
