Job Duties
Join an established practice; the clinic is only 15 minutes to Lewisburg, PA, home of Bucknell University, and 15 miles from Geisinger Medical Center, our main campus.
Senior Primary Care Geisinger is a comprehensive approach to primary care for people 65 and older, dedicated to providing "one place" for all health and well-being needs.
At work, you will experience:
- More time with patients - up to 60 minutes with patients.
- Easier and frequent appointments - we specialize in healthcare just for seniors, we're able to see them more often.
- Smaller patient panel - max patient panel threshold of 500 per physician.
- Interdisciplinary team - nursing, care coordinator/coach, social worker, receptionist, nutritionist, administrator and wellness coordinator.
- Support for patients - group ceramics to rummy card games, our centers offer a variety of fun activities to meet both old friends and new.
- Epic EMR - universal throughout Geisinger.
We take pride in the support we provide our physicians:
- Compensation - competitive starting salary at $320k
- Up to $250k recruitment incentives
- Fellowship stipend - up to 45k; available up to 18 months prior to graduation
- Continuing medical education - 15 working days and $4,500 CME funds
- Fully paid relocation
- 401k - Geisinger annually contributes over $15k
