What We Are Looking For: Woodland Heights Medical Center Emergency Room is now hiring a full-time Registered Nurse to work in our thriving 149-bed acute care hospital. Our Emergency Department has 9 ER rooms and 4 Fast Track rooms, focused on providing a high level of direct and individualized care to treat critically ill patients with a variety of life-threatening medical, cardiovascular, neurological, and surgical needs. In order to set you up for success, you need the basics of… * Associate's Degree in Nursing/ Bachelor's Degree preferred * Certified as a Registered Nurse in the State of Texas * Also you must have current BLS, ACLS, and PALS * Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures * 1 year of experience in an ER preferred (MED/SURG experience will be considered) Department Specifics: * Shift Schedule: 11am - 11pm * 4:1 patient to RN ratio * Stroke, Chest Pain, Level IV Trauma Certified * Roughly 25,000 patients a year seen in our ED Who We Are: Established in 1919, Woodland Heights Medical Center was Lufkin's first hospital.
