ACCOUNTING CLERK

ABOUT THE COMPANY:

  • CFS is partnering with a well-established company to identify an Accounting Clerk to join their team

OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE:

  • Process invoices for accounts payable, prepare checks for weekly check run
  • Process accounts receivable, make calls to customers with past due accounts weekly
  • Answer phones and direct customer inquiries to appropriate personnel
  • Cross-train and act as back-up for sales tax filings
  • Accounting Clerk prepares general ledger entries
  • Reconcile credit card payments

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR ACCOUNTING CLERK:

  • Accounting Clerk needs an Associate's or bachelor's degree in accounting
  • Minimum one year of experience in Accounts Payable for manufacturing
  • Basic excel skills; knowledge of SYSPRO is a major plus
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Deadline- and detail-oriented
