We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team at Mount Vernon Health and Rehabilitation Center. As an SLP, you will be responsible for providing exceptional care to our patients and ensuring their communication abilities are maintained or improved.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct evaluations to determine the extent of communication or swallowing difficulties of patients.

· Develop and implement treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing abilities.

· Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary.

· Maintain accurate patient records and document progress.

· Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient care.

· Provide patient and family education on communication and swallowing disorders.

Requirements:

· Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.

· Valid state license to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.

· Experience working with adults and geriatric populations.

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
