Accounting Clerk

Responsibilities of the Accounting Clerk Position:

  • Process invoices, including filing, scanning, and inputting both paper and electronic invoices
  • 3-way matching of invoices, determine account coding
  • Accounting Clerk balances edits and approves batches for posting to the Accounts Payable system
  • Review aging reports and determine invoices to be paid
  • Communicate with employees and vendors regarding account inquiries
  • Administrative work includes general filing and data entry when necessary

Preferred Qualifications for Accounting Clerk role:

  • 2+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
