OVERVIEW OF THE ROLE:

  • As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in the company's financial operations, managing both accounts payable and accounts receivable processes. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and directing invoices to appropriate departments, handling tasks such as assessing credit balances, processing refunds, and managing claim denials with precision and attention to detail. You will also be responsible for reconciling and correcting billing records accurately and processing cash items and third-party payments, ensuring transactions are posted and reconciled within the general ledger. By diligently fulfilling these duties, you will contribute to the company's financial health, maintain positive relationships with vendors and customers, and uphold financial integrity.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Preferred qualifications for this role include candidates with an Associates Degree in Accounting or Finance, as well as a strong attention to detail to ensure precision in financial transactions and record-keeping. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with team members and clients. Prior experience in data entry will be valuable for managing financial information accurately and efficiently, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications will further support your success in this position.
