Position Description

recteq is looking for a Graphic Designer to bring the recteq brand and products to life with dynamic creative across product/brand/event logos, merchandise, packaging, guidelines, digital display, social graphics, and more. An understanding of fundamental design principles with the ability to create quickly and adapt to new formats, guidelines and requests will be essential. This role will report to the Creative Director and assist across Marketing functions as well as product, operations and sales.

Job Responsibilities:

  • product packaging design to new products, accessories and grills, working with product team to ensure accurate information and fit to retail environment
  • brand assets for new products, product attributed iconography, promotional events, content series, etc.
  • composite imagery and icons for brand and product pages across recteq.com and partner marketplace sites, including Amazon
  • development of all digital display ad creation (using Creatopy software), using marketing provided copy and photography assets to create eye-catching, direct animated ad units
  • static assets for use across recteq digital/social platforms and channels, including on-screen graphics, YouTube thumbnails, header imagery, etc.
  • in development of retail collateral documents, creating print-friendly sales documents (PowerPoint) as well as consumer-facing leave behinds, in-box assets and instruction manuals
  • with internal production and performance marketing staff to optimize digital display and other promotional graphics

Job Qualifications:

  • 3+ years working in graphic design, preferably for a brand/company or creative agency
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite
  • Experience with graphic/sign fabrication, and/or video and photo production a plus
  • Understanding and familiarity of digital display ads production, etc.
  • Familiarity with office software such as Slack, Outlook, Teams, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and project management skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks while under pressure
  • Comfortable in a fast paced, self-starter environment with a can-do and go-getter attitude
