AP Specialist: Holyoke, MA
Our client is seeking a motivated Accounting professional to step into an AP Specialist role. This role is to fill a vacancy, getting the team caught up with their bills.

Responsibilities of the AP Specialist:
- The AP Specialist is responsible for reviewing and verifying invoices
- Maintain accurate and complete AP records and documentations
- AP Specialist will code invoices to the appropriate general ledger account
- Match invoices to the appropriate packing slip and purchase order
- Scan, file and pull journal entries as needed
- Assist with month-end closing
Preferred Qualifications of the AP Specialist:
- Applicants should have experience in an AP Specialist role OR some exposure to receiving, entering or making payments
- Knowledge of Excel, including basic functions such as formulas, graphs, tables, charts, and spreadsheets
- Excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to learn
