Our client is seeking a motivated Accounting professional to step into an AP Specialist role. This role is to fill a vacancy, getting the team caught up with their bills.

Responsibilities of the AP Specialist:

  • The AP Specialist is responsible for reviewing and verifying invoices
  • Maintain accurate and complete AP records and documentations
  • AP Specialist will code invoices to the appropriate general ledger account
  • Match invoices to the appropriate packing slip and purchase order
  • Scan, file and pull journal entries as needed
  • Assist with month-end closing

Preferred Qualifications of the AP Specialist:

  • Applicants should have experience in an AP Specialist role OR some exposure to receiving, entering or making payments
  • Knowledge of Excel, including basic functions such as formulas, graphs, tables, charts, and spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication skills and a strong willingness to learn
