TEC GROUP IS URGENTLY SEEKING A MAINTENANCE SUPERVISOR TO JOIN OUR FOOD MANUFACTURING CLIENTS TEAM.

ROLE: Maintenance Supervisor or Manager

LOCATION: Salem County

SALARY: 85K-95K

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that packaging and food processing equipment is functioning with little downtime. This is a hands-on role with Maintenance Technicians reporting to you. Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, installations, etc.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervise and train a team of Maintenance Technicians
  • Hands on experience with equipment repairs, tests, overhauls, etc. on packaging and process equipment including hydraulic, conveying, and air systems
  • Facilities maintenance
  • Implements maintenance strategies that support safety
  • Follow procedures relating to GMPs, Food Safety, and Lock-Out Tag-Out
  • Maintains Machine shop and equipment, and orders replacement parts and tracks costs and manages maintenance budget
  • Work with 3rd party vendors as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

BS Degree in Engineering helpful

Experience in the food processing industry/ packaging / CPG sector

Strong mechanical knowledge, including power transmission, pneumatics and hydraulics, p

Familiar with PLC diagnosing and repair helpful

3+ years of experience with food processing, high-speed packaging, conveyors, material handling equipment.

Must be able to safely operate and repair various production equipment such as thermoforming machines, roll stock machine, vacuum packing and sealing machine, grinders,power tools and other food industry equipment etc.

Knowledge in the proper use of equipment Lock-Out/Tag-Out requirements, portable fire extinguishers, and Protective Equipment Requirements

Understanding of Occupational Safety & Health Administration (local, state and federal health & safety regulations), and GMP requirements
