We are hiring for a Nocturnist position. A Nocturnist role requires working exclusively overnight shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours

- Join our close-knit, established team of eight physicians and four APPs with the support of a clinical performance nurse at The Hospitals of Sierra Campus.
- Our diverse group comprises individuals from various backgrounds, providing exceptional collaboration within the team.
- Our expertise complements the work of the intensivists. This collaborative approach results in a more holistic and efficient approach to patient care.
Qualifications:
- Graduate degree from an accredited nurse practitioner program.
- Nurse practitioner board certification
- Two years minimum APP hospitalist experience.
Flexible Scheduling:
- This is a nocturnist role, working 7 pm-7 am, with a 7-on/7-off model.
- Most hospitalist team members prioritize spending quality time with family and enjoying the outdoors. This shared value of work-life balance is reflected in our flexible work arrangements. We have established a system where we can cover for each other when one of our colleagues is out, cultivating a strong sense of unity among our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- We welcome the challenge of complex cases and work in an open ICU with intensivist coverage during the day and at night (our team is not expected to perform procedures).
