What You Will Enjoy Doing

To perform maintenance, cleaning and adjustment of the blow heads from the extrusion blow molding machines in a timely manner for all ALPLA US EBM locations

  • Maintains extrusion blow heads, making detailed reviews as well as to prepare all
    accessories
  • Detects any problem, damage of any kind in the blow heads in order to prevent any
    problem during normal operations
  • Establishes priorities during the development of the job and offer and excellent service
  • Guarantees maintenance of the blow head are made effective and in the right time
  • Makes sure all needed spare parts are in stock and informs the immediate supervisor
    about any unexpected situation
  • Maintains in order blow heads, tools, and accessories ready for production
  • Inspects and adjusts blow head temperatures, as well as cleans extrusion screws in
    order to complete efficiently with blow heads adjustment and mechanical repair
  • Completes check list of all performed jobs, as well as keeps in order and clean the work
    area
  • Lets the immediate supervisor know about any problem that could affect daily
    production
  • Supports other areas or plants that require their presence accordingly with company
    needs or previous instructions from immediate supervisor
  • Maintains good and continuous communication with Plant Manager

What Makes You Great

Education/Experience:

  • 2 year degree or equivalent experience at ALPLA or similar industry
  • Knowledge of measure equipment, tools and metric system

Qualification/Skills:

  • To be able to read mechanical and electrical drawings, work with drill machine and
    welding with inert gas
  • Can use pc (e-mail) and a digital camera
  • Good organization skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Knowledge of rigging and crane use
