Landscape DesignerWe are a nationally published landscape design firm specializing in high-end residential projects. We are seeking a designer to join the team. We are a fast-paced, small firm that takes projects from design to installation to garden nurturing. This is an opportunity where the right individual can shine, contribute, and grow with the company.Key Responsibilities:o Supervise the design studio team consisting of one full-time CAD support person and one administration associate. o Design development - consultation through installation o Project timeline/deliverableso Communication with client and project principals o CAD drawings, Indesign presentations, color renderingso Design R & Do Design support during installation o Work closely with operations staff to develop project installation costing, permits, timelines and mobilization etc. Key Working Relationship:o Reports to owner/Principal Designer Skills and Experience:o Certificate, Bachelor or Master's degree in Landscape Architecture or field related experienceo Proficiency with AutoCAD, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, SketchUp and Lumiono Knowledge of landscape construction methods and construction documents - Plant knowledge o Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Google Office Sheetso Excellent written and verbal communication skillso Excellent organizational skills and task follow up o Experience and interest in planting; plant knowledge is essentialo Spanish speaking is a plusResume:o Please note only candidates in the Los Angeles area should apply, preferably less than one hour commute to Topangao Please email a cover letter, resume, compensation history, and work samples Pay is dependent on experience and is negotiable.
