This role focuses on providing exceptional guest service, elevating wine offerings, and maintaining a visible floor presence to ensure an extraordinary dining experience in a refined setting. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in fine dining and wine service, along with the ability to lead and motivate a team to uphold the resort’s high standards of luxury hospitality.

Key Responsibilities:

Guest Service Excellence:

  • Ensure an exceptional guest experience by welcoming and engaging guests, addressing their needs, and promptly resolving any issues. Cultivate a warm, professional environment that reflects the resort’s commitment to luxury service.

Wine Service & Expertise:

  • Assist guests in selecting wines by providing knowledgeable recommendations and ensuring wine service meets the highest standards. Train and guide staff on wine pairing, service techniques, and product knowledge to enhance the dining experience.

Floor Management & Leadership:

  • Maintain an active presence on the restaurant floor during service, supervising staff performance, ensuring adherence to service standards, and addressing guest concerns or requests. Oversee floor operations to manage flow and ensure efficient, high-quality service.

Team Development & Training:

  • Support the hiring, training, and development of front-of-house staff, emphasizing guest service and product knowledge. Conduct regular training sessions to promote continuous improvement and maintain a cohesive, professional team.

Operational Oversight:

  • Coordinate daily restaurant operations, including reservations, table assignments, and inventory management for wine and service supplies. Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to optimize dining room flow and streamline service operations.

Quality Control & Standards Compliance:

  • Conduct routine checks on floor presentation, cleanliness, and overall ambiance to ensure a consistent luxury experience. Monitor service timing and standards, ensuring compliance with resort protocols and fine dining etiquette.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in restaurant management, ideally within a luxury or fine dining environment
  • Comprehensive knowledge of wine service and fine dining standards
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on guest service excellence
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in restaurant management software is a plus
