APP support staff perform as Physician extenders, triage incoming referrals, participate in in-patient rounding and see patients in clinic.
Position Highlights:
- Established office with existing patient panel in a large unsaturated catchment area
- Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8-5 Call; 1:3 (flexible)
- Conveniently located in the outpatient medical pavilion attached to the 376-bed Ball Memorial Hospital with all imaging or OR facilities accessible
- Level 3 trauma team providing inpatient and outpatient spine and brain surgery
Qualifications:
- Fellowship training in Neurosurgery
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
Compensation Highlights:

Facility DescriptionIU Health Ball Memorial Hospital is a 379-bed hospital and is designated as a level 3 trauma center. It is both a teaching hospital and a regional tertiary referral center. Over the last decade, the hospital has undergone a $130 million remodel and currently serves over 82,700 patients daily.
Since the early 1980s, physicians and staff members have been actively involved in national and international medical research studies, particularly in the areas of oncology, cardiology and coagulation.
